Mid-winter Powder day in April at Snowbasin

April 9, 2011.  Mid-Winter conditions at Snowbasin. Storm total was about 16 inches plus a few bonus inches because it continued to snow.  Above John follows Tom and Bill on the hike to No Name. On the way to No Name, I found the only exposed rock near the summit of Allen Peak (Top of the Olympic Tram). Left a little P-Tex with the rock and took my best tumble of the year.

We continue to work with Bill, but he just can't get the hang of how to ski powder.  Maybe by his 60th birthday next year he'll start to figure it out.

John had planned to go watch the BYU spring football game.  He changed his mind.  Good call.

 Tom. Money.

Tom grabbed the camera and snapped a few shots of me.  Note the original blue Marmot coat, circa 1979. It was good to see it back in action!
